The Vanier College Case Competition is an inter-collegial marketing case competition involving colleges from across the country since 2006. In this competition, teams are made up of three students who are given three hours to analyze a business problem and create a viable marketing plan. Afterwards they have twenty-minutes to present their marketing strategy in front of a panel of judges and peers and invited guests.
If you are an undergraduate student enrolled in a business or supply chain program at a Canadian College or University, the SCMA Case Competition is the perfect opportunity for you to showcase your talents to some of the industry’s top firms. Through the examination of topics such as logistics, network design, procurement, relationship management, and sustainability, you will be given the opportunity to resolve real-world challenges. A business case will be given to you and your team, which you will analyze and then present your solution to a panel of judges.
Human Resources Case Competition (HRSACC)
Event Details Coming Soon…The Human Resource Student Association case competition provides HR students an opportunity to apply their knowledge of the Human Resource industry within real world situations. Students involved will be exposed to a competitive environment among peers while being immersed in a 6 week training process.
Certified Professional Accounting (CPA) Ontario Case Competition
The CPA Ontario Case Competition provides Ontario colleges with the opportunity for their accounting students to showcase their skills in a provincial case competition. Students who compete will be able to test their analytical and soft skills in a competitive and real-world environment.
Annually, Enactus Canada Regional Expositions take place in Atlantic, Western and Central Canada, and bring together student, academic and industry leaders to celebrate the achievements of Canada’s future leaders and entrepreneurs. During the event, students showcase how their community outreach projects and business ventures are making a real impact in Canada and beyond.
The Pilon School of Business Case Competition provides Sheridan students an opportunity to put their knowledge of the business world to the test and showcase their skills. Students who compete will work in pairs to solve a given case within a 48 hour time period after which they will present their findings to a panel of judges for evaluation.
The CIFP Case Challenge provides students with an opportunity to use what they learned in their financial services programs, as well as demonstrate their financial planning skills. Throughout the competition, students will be able to interact effectively in team situations, analyze and resolve real business and financial planning problems, and present their solutions to a panel of financial planning professionals.
Annually, the Enactus Canada National Exposition brings together student, academic and industry leaders from across the country to celebrate the achievements of Canada’s future leaders and entrepreneurs. Over the course of the three day event, students showcase how their community outreach projects and business ventures are enabling progress through entrepreneurial action. Through rounds of live, presentation based competition, business leaders serving as judges determine which Enactus team and student entrepreneur will be named National Champions and represent Canada on the global stage.
For more than 30 years, the Ontario Colleges’ Marketing Competition (OCMC) brings hundreds of business students and faculty to showcase their business talents and earn top awards for teamwork and strategic thinking. Students can compete in various events including: Case Competitions, Quiz Bowl, Sales Presentations, and Job Interviews.
