Teach Well Winter 2022 Programming

The Centre for Teaching and Learning is excited to announce the February Teach Well programming! 

Whether you are a long-time attendee or new to the Teach Well sessions, we offer a variety of synchronous and asynchronous programming designed to help you create and facilitate your courses. 

New this semester, there are  thematically organized offerings into such topics as Inclusion, Course Design, and Integrating Educational Technology into Practice. We’ve also tagged each session as either ‘Learning the Essentials’ or ‘Going Deeper,’ to identify  if it is a fundamental session, or one to further hone your current capacities.

Registration Open for “Fundamentals of Learner-Focused Teaching for Non-Full-Time Faculty”

The Fundamentals of Learner-Focused Teaching is a comprehensive program designed for part-time, partial load, and sessional faculty at Sheridan. We invite any non-full-time faculty who are interested in enhancing their teaching and learning practices to participate in this program. This is a great opportunity for you to build capacity in your teaching and learning environment and to share and learn from your peers. In these sessions, you will participate in a series of dynamic and interactive sessions that are both synchronous and asynchronous in nature.

Dates for Synchronous Sessions:
Two Saturdays – March 26 and April 9, 2022
Time: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with a one-hour break from 12:00 to 1:00 pm
Location: Online
Registration deadline: March 18, 2022

*In addition to the synchronous sessions listed above—each week is focused on different teaching and learning themes—faculty will complete some self-paced work asynchronously. *
