$7 million in virtual-learning funding available through eCampusOntario
By Robert Luke
Ontario’s not-for-profit virtual learning centre-of-excellence, eCampusOntario, has released a call for expressions of interest (EOIs) in support of the second round of funding for provincial government’s Virtual Learning Strategy (VLS).
More than $8 million will be made available by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities to Ontario’s publicly assisted postsecondary institutions, with nearly $7 million distributed through the EOIs.
As announced last week, eCampusOntario continues to partner with the ministry to drive growth and advancement in virtual learning across the province’s post-secondary institutions.
The VLS is expanding the possibilities of traditional and life-long learning through the accelerated use of both online and hybrid delivery.
We invite eligible institutions to submit an EOI from now until Jan. 14, 2022. Successful applicants will be notified, and contracts executed in March of 2022. Click HERE for EOI documentation for more details on eligibility.
eCampusOntario is hosting a series of virtual technical briefings for potential applicants. Eligible institutions and their collaborators are invited to register for a session today using the links below. Sessions will offer the opportunity to ask live questions, and recordings of the events will be made available for later viewing on the VLS website.
Eligible institutions may attend either of these identical orientation briefings.
