PSB Office Support and Space Update for Fall 2021
As the college has determined that essential workers requiring direct contact with students are to be on campus this fall, the PSB leadership team and program support staff (PSS) will be onsite at both Davis and HMC campuses everyday on a rotating schedule.
PSB offices (HMC A406/Davis B305) will generally be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Office hours may vary.
Classroom supplies and some PPE (goggles/face shields and non-latex gloves) are available for faculty in the PSB offices. Facilities management plans to stock/replenish classrooms with disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer.
It is requested that faculty teaching on-campus courses limit their visits to these offices where possible. Photocopiers will not be accessible for faculty members. As per college-wide standard operating procedures, faculty members are to use SLATE for handouts and students will print these themselves.
Only faculty teaching face-to-face are to be on campus and only on days they are teaching. Any additional access requires management approval. Limited hotelling space (based on social distancing requirements and capacity studies) is available in offices at Davis and HMC for faculty between classes only. Faculty are asked to enter campus immediately before their first class and exit immediately after their last class for the day.
In the event that a faculty member has a virtual class scheduled in close proximity to a face-to-face class, a room on campus has been scheduled for your virtual delivery.
All meetings are to continue being held offsite for the fall semester. This includes program faculty, PAC and administrative meetings. As well, student advisors and program coordinators are not to book on-campus meetings with students.
