Pilon inks exchange deal with Spanish university
By Stan Kamzol
Further to nearly 18 months of discussion and negotiation, the Pilon School of Business is pleased to announce the execution of a new Student Exchange Agreement with LaSalle-University Ramon Llull of Barcelona, Spain. LaSalle is a private, not-for-profit, university affiliated with the LaSalle community of universities around the world.
The Barcelona-based university is home to nearly 5,000 students and offers education in engineering, animation, digital arts and media design, architecture and business management. It is within the school of business management that we see such potential for our students in cross-cultural education within an innovative and applied learning environment. LaSalle offers business degrees in digital business, design & innovation, business intelligence & analytics, and management of business & technology. These fields of focus align well with opportunities for our BBA students either in a semester abroad experience or within LaSalle’s summer school option.
LaSalle joins PSB’s existing partners in study abroad: the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) and Saxion University of Applied Sciences (the Netherlands).
Together with other partners in international collaboration in Europe and in Asia, Pilon is expanding its network ensuring a broad-based international experience for students. This expansion of the international network provides Pilon’s BBA students pathways to international and intercultural academic experiences and potential post-graduate opportunities. Together with its partners, Pilon is exploring new strategies in internationalization and cooperation including the recently announced COIL initiative for W2021.
For more information about this or any related opportunities for our BBA students, contact Stan Kamzol, Pilon’s international coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org or Karen Booth, associate dean PSB at email@example.com.
