Pilon School of Business is pleased to welcome Joanne Bonnet to the role of Associate Dean.
Bonnet will be overseeing the marketing and advertising portfolio in the faculty. She brings with her an extensive background in marketing and advertising, as well as a focus in workplace leadership and professional development.
“As Associate Dean, I’m looking forward to collaborating with my colleagues in partnership opportunities within the college, developing new programs, and creating systems of success to help students get the most out of their experience at Sheridan,” she says.
Bonnet joins us from Seneca College, where she spent the last few years lending her expertise in curriculum development, academic advisement and administration, and support of student success programs. She also taught classes within the International Business Diploma program and the Business Marketing Diploma program.
“I strongly believe in developing a culture of serving, as well as leading with kindness and compassion,” Bonnet says.
Bonnet prides herself on her student-oriented approach, which has yielded successful learning outcomes and increased positive rapport with students. She especially enjoys the student advising aspect of working in the faculty, and is committed to guiding student improvement in their technical and professional skills.
