Dr. Wael Ramadan Presents at Project Management Conference
On October 8, 2018 in Los Angeles Professor Dr. Wael Ramadan presented at the Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Conference. This annual conference is attended by over 1500 professionals around the globe with a focus on sharing new ideas and approaches, networking and investing in professional development and growth. The conference featured a variety of speakers including Jon Dorenbos a former NFL Player, Cam Martson an Author, Columnist and Blogger and Head of Strategic Planning, Abigail Posner who presented a wonderful presentation on Google’s Creative Think Tank for Agencies and Brands.
Dr. Ramadan presented his session “Strategic Alignment. The Art of Doing the Right things Right” to a room of 250 participants. Dr. Ramadan session description stated “Organizations need to continuously adapt and restructure in order to survive and grow. Strategic management is an art of survival and project management is an output of this creative art. It is crucial to understand the link between project management and strategic management and its implications for project managers in order to enable the successful completion of project objectives.
This presentation provides a disclosure of the notion of strategic alignment and the importance ensuring that success is achieved when the right project is done right. It also highlights the importance of ensuring that project implementation will bring the organization closer towards achieving its strategic objectives.”
The session was a success and received positive feedback from all who attended his presentation.
He also went on to describe the experience as:
