PSB Says Farewell to Study Abroad Students
Every year, Sheridan’s Pilon School of Business (PSB) works with university partners abroad to welcome and exchange Bachelor level students. This provides an exciting experience of studying abroad that is consistent with our commitment to the internationalization of our student experience.
Last week we said farewell to seven students who participated in the Fall 2017 Study Abroad Student Exchange Program. They joined us from various countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland, and finished off their studies and introduction to Canada with a lunch, celebrating the semester and their experiences.
Their Program Coordinator, Stan Kamzol, invited them to share their experiences with one another and participate in a general question and answer session. The students and Professor Kamzol were joined by Sandy McKean, Dean of the Pilon School of Business, Karen Booth, BBA Program Coordinator, Crystal Bennett, Student Experience Manager, and the International Office’s Elena Shik and Antony Vadakkanchery. Additionally, one of PSB’s outbound Winter 2018 students, Davina Smith, also joined the group to begin her own networking experience. Davina will be heading to HAN University in the Netherlands in the new year.
