PSBCT is recruiting students to compete in the 2017 SCMA Case Competition
About the SCMA Case Competition
Who: Full-time students who are currently enrolled in any business/supply chain program at the undergraduate level. Students must be at least 19 years of age by the time of the competition.
What: Your team will have approximately 4 hours to prepare a 15-minute presentation and 5 minute Q&A.
When: February 25th, full day.
Where: DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University in Burlington, Ontario

What is the Case Competition About?
Two teams of 4 will be selected to compete (8 people in total). Working in their teams, the students will explore a scenario pertaining to a supply chain problem. The teams will develop recommendations based on their research, data analysis and study of financial implications. A panel of industry and academic judges will adjudicate the presentations.

When will tryouts occur
- Week of January 23rd to 27th, 2016
Tryout Process
January 23rd, you will receive a Supply Chain tryout case (2 pages max) via email.
- In this email, you will be sent a Doodle to select a 30-minute time slot for an interview.
January 27th, Case presentations will occur throughout the day.
- Prepare a 10 minute presentation interview.
- You will have a 5-minute Question and Answer period.
Successful teams will be informed by January 30th. Teams will conduct training with industry leaders to prepare for the SCMA Case Competition on February 25th.
