Sheridan’s Pilon School of Business team takes Gold at OCMC 2014 Blue Mountain Conference Centre

Marketing Management Event – Shamelle Sutton and Liz May, coached by Professor Georgia Mello.

Marketing Research Event – Hilary Brock and Farrah Viudez, coached by Professor Stacey Sheehy. Retailing Event – Pam Cooper, Melissa Colella, coached by Professor Allan Linklater. Prospect Pitching Case – First place, Caitlin Vollum and Troy Zaffino, coached by Professor Karen Booth. Integrated Marketing Communications – Brad Meyers and Sean Lundy, coached by Professor Peggy Barnwell.

“All the coaches are proud of each and every student competitor – they competed well against many talented students from Ontario colleges,” said Karen Booth, Professor, Pilon School of Business and head coach.

In addition, Pilon School of Business Professor Keith Barnwell was awarded the OCMC 2014 Award of Excellence in recognition of his selfless and creative contributions to the Ontario Colleges’ Marketing Competition.

OCMC 2014 is hosted by Georgian College at Blue Mountain Resorts in Collingwood.
