Sheridan Faculty of Business Accounting Student Association – Bring Back the Grads event at HMC
The Sheridan Faculty of Business Accounting Student Association at the HMC campus is very pleased to host the 4th annual Bring Back the Grads Night, on October 7th.
Graduates from the Faculty of Business Accounting programs returned to Sheridan at the Hazel McCallion Campus (HMC) to participate in a discussion panel where they shared their career path stories with current business students. Each panel member shared stories of further education and employment history as they recounted their journey since graduating from Sheridan.
The lively Sheridan Accounting panel discussion was moderated by Professor Sally Mitzel, Faculty Advisor to the Accounting Student Association – HMC.
“Our students and Alumni enjoy this event immensely. Undergraduate Accounting students are inspired after listening and speaking to the returning graduates and the alumni are treated like “rock-stars” for the evening. Each of the panel members asked to be invited back next year for the event,” said Sally Mitzel, Accounting program Coordinator.
After the panel discussion, students and graduates networked during the refreshment portion of the evening. The Certified General Accounting Association (CGA) sponsored the event and provided refreshments and door prizes for the participants.
Members of the panel from left to right: Gus Patel, Kevin Mouscos, Sundra O’Sefa, Chris Law, Samia Ashraf, Paul Latour, Justin Cote, Stetlana Tsvetkova, Christina Wu.
