Sheridan Toastmasters Chapter hosts local area International Speech Contest March 6th at HMC
The Sheridan Faculty of Business sponsored Toastmasters Chapter at Sheridan College hosts the local Area Clubs’ International Speech Contest on Wednesday March 6th at The Hazel McCallion Campus (HMC), 4180 Duke of York Boulevard, Mississauga in The Randy Pilon and Family Auditorium A145 at 6:30 pm.
The Sheridan Bruins Toastmasters Club and four other local clubs will present their club speech contest winners in direct head-to-head competition with the ultimate presenter going on to the Division-level competition. This annual Toastmaster International competition challenges speakers to compete at the area level, move to the Division level, and then to the District level and finally to the International level. The Sheridan Bruins speaker is Nizam Muhammad, a student in the Faculty of Business Accounting program who won his spot at last week’s club contest at HMC.
The event is open to the public Wednesday March 6 at HMC in A145. Registration for the event begins at 6:30 pm with a $5 registration fee for refreshments.
