Sheridan Advertising students Erin McManus, Jason Dunphy, Lindsay Cannon will compete in Montreal this weekend February 8,9,10 along with students from 26 other colleges and universities from across Canada.
The Vanier Case Challenge 2013 offers very tough competition from all of the competing schools. Each of the participating colleges fields a single team of three students to make a case presentation in front of a jury. Cases are of a strategic marketing orientation and judged by a panel of industry professionals. Competing teams consist of 2nd or 3rd year Marketing /Business Administration concentration students.
According to the Vanier College BDC Case Challenge website: The Vanier College Business Administration Department has been hosting and organizing the annual Vanier College Case Challenge, an inter-collegial marketing case competition involving colleges from across the country since 2006. This competition offers community college and cegep level Business Administration students a singular opportunity to apply what they learn in the classroom to a true to life business experience.
“We are thrilled to be involved with the Vanier competition. We have an excellent group of dedicated students who have worked extremely hard to prepare for Montreal. We couldn’t be prouder of this team,” said Peggy Barnwell, Coordinator, Advertising and Marketing Communications Management program.
