Sheridan Business OCMC Team stirring their competitive spirit on Twitter at #BestinBlue

Faculty of Business OCMC competitors show their Sheridan OCMC 2012 team jersey with the hashtag #bestinblue.

Sheridan’s Ontario Colleges’ Marketing Competition (OCMC) team have inspired their fellow Sheridan Faculty of Business students to engage in the excitement of the coming annual competition through a Sheridan Team Twitter site #BestinBlue to raise awareness of the annual event.

The Sheridan OCMC Team use the phrase #BestinBlue to represent their team in the Twitter-verse and Sheridan students have taken up the call to use the hashtag #BestinBlue to share the Team’s excitement.

The Ontario Colleges’ Marketing Competition (OCMC) is an annual event which pits teams of top business students from about 14 Ontario colleges in an intense two-day event that challenges students to compete in marketing activities and have their efforts judged by some of the best marketing professionals in the business.  OCMC 2012 is hosted this year by Centennial College and takes place on November 15 and 16 at the Delta Toronto East Hotel.

OCMC faculty sponsor Professor Annie Tarzi and the 2012 Sheridan OCMC Team have been very active in getting the college community involved with the social media surrounding Sheridan’s team.

“This is an exciting time for Team Sheridan.  The students are competitive and dedicated, and along with their coaches have been working very hard during their weekly training sessions.  We are all very excited for the competition and appreciate the continued support from the college community,” said Professor Tarzi.
