Sheridan Professor Doug Greenwood receives OCMC Award of Excellence in recognition at 2011 event
Professor Doug Greenwood, Sheridan Faculty of Business is the recipient of the Ontario Colleges’ Marketing Competition (OCMC) Award of Excellence for 2011.
Each year, one individual, college or sponsor is recognized with the OCMC Award of Excellence in recognition of the exceptional work in furtherance of this annual college marketing competition.
“The Award of Excellence was a total surprise to me – it was an honor to be recognized by the OCMC provincial representatives with the award. The meat and potatoes of our work at Sheridan on OCMC is the team selection and the week to week training we do with students which then culminates in the event itself. Awards like this are the gravy, but the gravy is very nice indeed,’ said Greenwood.
Previous recipients of the OCMC Award of Excellence include 2010 Stephen Janisse, St. Clair College, 2009 Pat Kolodziejski, Mohawk College, 2008 Marianne Mirando, Seneca College, 2007 Dwight Dyson, Centennial College, 2006 McGraw-Hill Ryerson Limited, Pearson Education Canada and Thomson Nelson, 2005 David Nowell Sheridan College, 2004 Barb Watts, Georgian College, 2003 Noni Stukel, Algonquin College, and 2002 Kip Tuckwell, St. Lawrence College.
