Autism Awareness-Blue Event slated for March 31 Trafalgar campus
Sheridan Faculty of Business professors Golnaz Golnaraghi and Lorraine Cipparone will be part of Sheridan’s first Autism Awareness-Blue Event to be held on Thursday, March 31st at Sheridan’s Trafalgar campus.
“Our passion is to raise autism awareness and support the efforts of the many community agencies working to help people with Autism achieve a great quality of life, said Golnaraghi.
Come visit the booths on the main floor of Sheridan College Trafalgar Campus SCAET Building Lobby between 10 am – 2 pm to learn more about Autism and Asperger’s and enjoy many goodies available for sale including Blue Cupcakes (kindly donated by Monastery Bakery of Oakville), Autism Awareness Wristbands, and blue manicures.
You will also be interested in the Autism Awareness BBQ organized by Professional Edge student, Paul Taylor and his team. The BBQ will run 11:30 am – 2:30 pm outside the SCAET building by the flags. The delicious hamburgers have been donated by M&M Meats. All proceeds will be donated to Autism Halton.
Very special thanks to Joe Henry, Sheridan Student Services and his team for their support and leadership in helping us bring this event to life. Join us on March 31st.
