Sheridan Faculty of Business Travel and Tourism students network with industry professionals

Kelsey Leon wins Porter Airline tickets from David Allen

Sheridan Faculty of Business Travel and Tourism students recently had an excellent opportunity to network with industry professionals and fellow students from several Ontario colleges at the 15th Annual Students-in-Travel Conference and Trade Show hosted at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

About two dozen Sheridan Tourism and Travel Students attended the multitude of workshops and displays  presented along with several members of the Sheridan program faculty. The event gave students the opportunity to network, learn about jobs in the Travel industry and meet our industry partners.

“The trade show portion, which featured over 20 industry suppliers, including Transat Holidays, Westjet, Airmiles, and more, gave us the opportunity to see Sheridan Travel and Tourism graduates in action including Morgan Stock (2008) and Mauricio Canjura (2007) both Sheridan Tourism Grads who work for TNT Tours,” said Victoria Renton, Sheridan Travel and Tourism Program Coordinator.

Kelsey Leon, a second year student won two tickets anywhere that Porter Airlines flies. (see picture) Kelsey Leon pictured with Donald Allen, Porter Airlines.
