Sheridan Faculty of Business hosts Halton and Peel teachers at City Centre Campus
Dr. William Holmes, Dean, Sheridan Faculty of Business, professors, and program coordinators hosted Halton and Peel teachers and administrators with an informal reception to mark the new Sheridan City Centre Campus being built next to the Mississauga City Centre and Square One Mall.
Dr. Holmes spoke of the new opportunities in technology and design for student activities being incorporated in the building while Creative Campus leader Professor Peter Bouffard walked the receptive audience through some of the design assumptions
being incorporated in the building and explained how the Creative Campus will accommodate the September influx of Sheridan Faculty of Business students.
Halton and Peel teachers watched a short video about The Sheridan City Centre Campus and had an opportunity to mix and meet with Sheridan Faculty of Business professors, business program coordinators and members of Sheridan’s admission team.
Sheridan President and CEO Dr. Jeff Zabudsky welcomed the group of educators and focussed his comments on the new elements of sustainability and the creative design being incorporated in the new Sheridan College Faculty of Business campus taking shape literally right in the background.
Dr. Zabudsky noted that the new campus marks a renewal with the city and residents of Mississauga, as historically Sheridan College had a presence in area with the former Sheridan School of Crafts and Design located in Lorne Park and the Credit Valley School of Nursing and residence located at the former Credit Valley Hospital location.
