John Hardisty re-elected to Board of Directors for Human Resources Professionals Association – HRPA
Sheridan School of Business Professor and Coordinator of the Human Resources Management program, John Hardisty was re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Human Resource Professionals Association for a second three-year term. Hardisty is a long term member of HRPAH and has held Vice-president and President roles as well as his current position on the Board of Directors for HRPA.
The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) is Canada’s HR thought leader and the largest HR association in the country. In Ontario, HRPA regulates the HR profession and issues the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, the national standard for excellence in human resources management. HRPA has more than 18,000 members in 28 chapters and hosts the largest annual HR conference in Canada.
The HRPAH is a chapter of the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) serving Members in Halton Region, including the communities of Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville.
The HRPAH primary mission is to provide professional development and networking opportunities that enable members’ career progression and success. HRPAH are also committed to assisting Halton’s human resources students launch their careers through the advice, counsel and mentoring of our Practitioner and CHRP Members. HRPAH also seek to establish and develop positive and productive relationships with the Halton community through relationships with various levels of government, community groups and other area professional associations.
